Welcome!

Welcome to the Southern Nevada Supplemental Airport (SNSA) Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) web site. This site is about the Federal environmental review process triggered by the Clark County Department of Aviation’s (CCDOA) proposal to construct the Ivanpah Valley Airport. The EIS process will evaluate the environmental impacts of the Ivanpah Valley Airport and other reasonable alternatives for meeting the aviation needs of southern Nevada. If this is your first visit to the web site, you may want to review the Definitions and Roles and Responsibilities pages before you go further.

This site provides current information about the EIS being prepared for a supplemental commercial service airport in southern Nevada. Whenever you visit this site, be sure to check out the What's New page, which will give you the most recent updates on the EIS.

The lead Federal agencies, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), are committed to an open and public process throughout the preparation of the EIS. The EIS will be prepared in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and EIS guidelines.

This web site will be updated as information becomes available. Thank you for visiting the SNSA EIS web site!
